Catholic Vote President Brian Burch said recent actions by the Biden Administration’s Health and Human Services department are “asking even minor children to” learn and acknowledge unscientific ideas about gender and biological sex.

“Stephen Miller’s group America First Legal summed up what the Biden presidency is doing–it is ‘working every day to destroy fundamental truth,’” Burch told the Madison Reporter. “Biological sex is scientific reality, and the radical transgender ideology is asking even minor children to, as Andrew Klavan and many others put it, ‘live a lie.'”

Documents posted by America First Legal (AFL) show the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, particularly United States Assistant Secretary for Health Rachel Levin, approving and promoting concepts of “gender fluidity” and “nonbinary constructs” of sex and gender. The presentation was intended to be used for education across health organizations, according to Breitbart News.

“Assistant Secretary Levine’s radical transgender ideology is currently being implemented across the nation’s health apparatus,” AFL wrote in a post on X. “The Biden administration is working every day to destroy fundamental truth, i.e. biological sex, and force the American people to adopt their radical ‘gender identity’ ideology. It should concern all Americans that the government officials who are charged with preventing pandemics, curing diseases, and providing health advice to the entire United States are occupied with redefining sex into a ‘multidimensional construct.’”

Madison, Wisconsin-based Catholic Vote is an advocacy organization that wants to “inspire every Catholic in America to live out the truths of our faith in public life,” according to the group’s website. Founded in 2008, its president is Brian Burch.
