One Community Bank has announced the promotion of Dan Carey to Executive Vice President. In this new capacity, Carey will join the executive team and continue his role as Chief Commercial Officer, contributing to the growth of the commercial team.

“Dan brings an incredible blend of experience, leadership, and deep commitment to relationship banking,” stated Steve Peotter, President and CEO. “He consistently leads with integrity and vision, and we’re excited to have Dan be part of our executive team.”

Carey’s career in community banking began after he earned a degree in Finance and Business Management from Edgewood College. He started as a credit analyst at a small community bank in Cambridge, Wisconsin. During this time, he was mentored by senior leaders which helped shape his leadership style.

“I am extremely excited to join the OCB executive team,” said Carey. “As a member of that team, I look forward to helping One Community Bank continue to align with its mission to Serve Clients, Support Colleagues, and Invest in our Communities.”

Beyond his professional responsibilities at One Community Bank, Carey is involved in community activities. He serves on boards for the McFarland Education Foundation and the Wisconsin Harness Horse Association and volunteers as a youth sports coach. Additionally, he is pursuing his CCIM designation with CCIM Wisconsin.
