On Sunday, May 4, former Waunakee Community High School standout Joe Hauser’s current college team, the Creighton Bluejays, won 16-4 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Butler Bulldogs.
The game took place at Bulldog Park. This was their third matchup against the Bulldogs this season.
The Bluejays’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, May 6 at 6 p.m. at Hawks Field at Haymarket Park against Nebraska Cornhuskers.
Senator Kelda Roys of Madison has introduced new legislation aimed at ensuring fair and transparent pricing for groceries and other consumer goods in Wisconsin.
Senator Kelda Roys (D-Madison) and Representative Angelina Cruz (D-Racine) have introduced a bill that would increase Wisconsin’s minimum wage to $15 per hour, with plans for it to reach $20 by 2030.
Senators Kelda Roys, Dora Drake, and Latonya Johnson have sent a letter to Senator Van Wanggaard, chair of the Senate Committee on Judiciary and Public Safety, objecting to the use of paper ballots for voting on SB 445/AB 446.
