Wisconsin Manufacturers & Commerce (WMC) has announced the promotion of John Laux to Marketing & Events Manager. Laux, who joined WMC in 2021 as a Marketing & Events Coordinator, is recognized for his growing contributions, notably in WMC’s 2024 Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year Award event.

WMC President & CEO Kurt Bauer commented on Laux’s advancement: “John has been an invaluable member of the WMC team for over four years, and his promotion to Marketing and Events Manager is well deserved. His dedication, strong work ethic, and steadfast loyalty to WMC make John’s promotion an easy decision for our team. We are excited about John’s future and look forward to his continued success.”

Laux holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. He grew up near Madison and is an enthusiast of Wisconsin collegiate and professional sports. Additionally, he participates in deer hunting season, enjoys fishing on Madison lakes and at his family’s cottage in Vilas County, and plays golf.
