On Friday, May 16, former Monona Grove High School standout Karlie McKenzie’s current collegiate team the Eastern Illinois Panthers won 2-10 against the Texas Longhorns in the NCAA Division I Softball Championship.

The game took place at Red & Charline McCombs Field at 3:55 p.m. and was the first matchup against the Texas Longhorns in the tournament.

The Eastern Illinois Panthers’ next game will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 3:55 p.m. at Red & Charline McCombs Field.
