The League of Wisconsin Municipalities announced on April 9 that it will host a training session for local officials at the Oregon Public Library on April 22.
The event aims to support both newly elected and experienced municipal officials by providing practical guidance on governance. The League said this is its first “League Locally” event in the Village of Oregon.
According to the announcement, the session will address topics such as civility in governance, Robert’s Rules of Order, and will include a mock meeting designed to help participants run effective and productive meetings. The League plans to visit five locations across Wisconsin as part of this initiative.
Officials interested in attending can find more information or register through the League’s Learning Lab website. The organization encourages participation from anyone seeking to improve their skills or refresh their knowledge about municipal operations.
This series reflects ongoing efforts by the League of Wisconsin Municipalities to provide educational resources for local government leaders.
