More than 400 children participated in the annual Madison Bike + Run event on June 14 at Warner Park. The community gathered to support students as they raced through park paths and neighborhood streets in this family-friendly event.

Gompers Elementary School earned the title of Fittest School. Mendota Elementary and Midvale Elementary also performed well, securing third and fourth places, respectively. The event raised over $12,000 to benefit schools in the Madison area.

Courses were designed for various skill levels, with Long, Medium, and Short routes available for participants of all ages. Awards ceremonies recognized both individual accomplishments and school-wide achievements throughout the morning.
