Metro will adjust its service schedule on Friday, July 4, to align with the holiday. The transit system will operate under a Sunday schedule for several routes, including Routes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, L, O, P, and R. Route 80 will follow weekend recess schedules while Routes 81-84 will not be in operation.

Paratransit services will also see changes as all standing rides are canceled for the day. Riders who need to travel on the holiday must arrange a casual ride.

Metro’s customer service call center will remain open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., though the administration office will be closed. For further details or inquiries about these changes, individuals can contact Metro’s Customer Service Center at (608) 266-4466 or via email at mymetrobus@cityofmadison.com.
