Starting July 30, Cherokee Drive at Nakoma Road will reopen to local and bus traffic, according to a recent update from city officials. However, Manitou Way will temporarily close again for sanitary work. Northbound traffic will continue on Nakoma Road only.

The main detour route remains in place, directing most vehicles to use Midvale Boulevard and Odana Road.

More information and background about the project are available on the Engineering’s Nakoma Road page.
