On Friday, April 25, former Deerfield High School standout Cal Fisher’s current college team, the Florida State Seminoles, won 10-2 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisville Cardinals.
The game took place at Jim Patterson Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.
The Seminoles’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 26 at 2 p.m. at Jim Patterson Stadium against Louisville Cardinals.
The Wisconsin Natural Resources Board will meet May 27 in Madison to discuss new rules affecting fisheries management, trail planning projects, land donations, wildlife awards presentations, and more. Public testimony can be given remotely or in person with registration by May 20.
The City of Monona has opened a public survey as part of its 2026 Comprehensive Plan update. Residents are invited to provide input on topics such as land use and community priorities. The results will guide decisions about growth over the next decade.
Middleton High School’s Theatre Department earned top honors at this year’s Jerry Awards with its production of Hadestown: Teen Edition. Several students were individually recognized as well. The department will perform at an upcoming awards ceremony.
