One Community Bank has been named a Top Workplace by the Wisconsin State Journal for the eighth year in a row, according to a March 30 announcement. The recognition is based on colleague feedback collected through an anonymous survey administered by Energage, LLC, which measures fifteen aspects of organizational culture such as alignment, execution, and connection.

The award highlights One Community Bank’s ongoing efforts to create a supportive work environment. The survey results reflect employee perspectives on the bank’s approach to professional development and work-life balance.

Steve Peotter, President and Chief Executive Officer of One Community Bank, said, “It is an honor to be recognized by our amazing colleagues in such a meaningful way. We are thankful to receive this award for the eighth year in a row. We are dedicated to creating an environment that empowers and invests in relationships with our colleagues and can see through recognition such as this that our approach resonates. At One Community Bank, we’re committed to being a forward-thinking organization that serves our clients, supports our colleagues, and invests in our communities.”

Chief Talent Officer Holly Heuer also commented on the achievement: “Being part of a team that strongly focuses on supporting its colleagues is so important and truly special. Winning this award for the past eight years demonstrates that the people that we work with agree. Our incredible team is so dedicated, and it is such a privilege to show up and work alongside them every day.”

One Community Bank offers various benefits aimed at enhancing employee well-being including wellness reimbursement programs, paid volunteer hours, paid time off programs, retirement plans such as 401k options, and flexible work arrangements.

With 19 locations across Wisconsin and $2.5 billion in assets, One Community Bank continues its focus on serving both personal and business banking needs while investing in local communities.
