Rep. Bob Donovan, a Republican representing Wisconsin’s 61st House district since 2025, has recently addressed a range of issues on his social media account, including law enforcement, housing affordability, and community milestones.

On October 6, 2025, Donovan commented on the role of federal law enforcement and accountability under existing laws. He stated, “Federal law enforcement are doing their job and enforcing the laws established by Congress. People that have broken our laws should be held accountable for them. This is not a difficult concept.”

Addressing housing concerns on October 7, 2025, Donovan discussed factors contributing to rising home costs in Wisconsin. He wrote, “The housing issue is twofold: a lack of supply and rising building costs. Inflation has contributed to this, but government regulations add approximately $88,500 to the cost of a new home.

Today, the legislature is considering legislation to address this.”

On October 8, 2025, Donovan marked a local celebration by extending birthday wishes to Fern Felski and acknowledging others present at the event. He posted, “Wishing Fern Felski a happy 100th birthday! Had the opportunity to present a legislative citation to Fern to celebrate this historic moment.

Great to also see her son, former Alderman Borkowski, and Supervisor Vincent as well!”

Donovan began serving in the Wisconsin State House after winning election in 2025 for District 61 following Amanda Nedweski’s tenure.
