Rep. Bob Donovan, a Republican member of the Wisconsin State House representing the 61st district, shared updates on his recent activities and community engagement through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) in August 2025.
On August 19, Donovan recapped a legislative district day with fellow lawmaker Rep. August, writing: “I had the privilege of hosting @rep_august in the 61st for a legislative district day. We had a full day of talking with business leaders, local leaders, and discussing what state government can do for you. Watch my recap video to learn more.”
The following day, Donovan invited constituents to join him at an event celebrating the Milwaukee Brewers baseball team: “I look forward to seeing you all today! Get your burger and lets celebrate the Brewers.” This message was posted on August 20.
On August 21, Donovan reflected on the previous day’s festivities and the Brewers’ success: “It was a good day to be a Brewers fan yesterday. Only thing better than 12 wins and free burgers is 14 wins and free burgers! This team is special. Great seeing you all!”
Donovan was elected to represent Wisconsin’s 61st House district in 2025, succeeding Amanda Nedweski as state representative.
