S&L Underground will close Sherman Avenue to southbound through traffic between Fordem Avenue and Marston Avenue beginning at 7:00 am on Thursday, July 31. The closure is scheduled to continue until the afternoon of Friday, August 1, to allow for utility installation connected to a private development project.

Local access in the southbound direction will be maintained during the closure, while northbound Sherman Avenue will remain open. According to the city, normal traffic conditions are expected to resume by Friday afternoon.
