A special election is scheduled for Tuesday, June 17, to fill the District 1 seat on the Dane County Board of Supervisors. The district covers downtown Madison residents who vote at various locations, including the Madison Municipal Building, Bethel Lutheran, Central Library, Capitol Lakes, Madison Senior Center, and 641 W. Main St Apartments.

A sample ballot is now accessible on the My Vote WI website. Voters can also request absentee ballots through this platform. Absentee ballots will be mailed to voters with existing requests on file.

State law mandates that special voting deputies facilitate absentee voting in certain nursing homes and care facilities. In this election, Capitol Lakes is the only affected facility. Special Voting Deputies are scheduled to visit these facilities on May 27 and May 30.
