Madison Area Technical College enrolls 15,202 undergrads

At Madison Area Technical College, 67 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 56 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year public institution in Madison enrolled 15,250 students in fall 2018, including 15,202 in undergraduate and 48 in graduate programs, data shows. 4.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

95 percent of undergraduates are residents of Wisconsin, and 2 percent are residents of other states.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (70 percent) and Hispanic or Latino (11 percent).
