Destine Bauschke of MBE CPAs earns EA credential 

Sun Prairie, Wis., January 3, 2023 – MBE CPAs LLP, a leading provider of accounting, tax, consulting, and other professional services, recently announced that Individual Tax Specialist, Destine Bauschke, passed her IRS Enrolled Agent (EA) Exam and earned her licensure.  “All of us at MBE CPAs and our professional family of affiliates are proud of Destine for her accomplishments. With her EA licensure, she can now represent clients before the IRS for matters involving audits, collections, and appeals. “I want to continue serving my clients, be a better resource for tax resolution, and teach them how to stay out of those situations in the first place. This license allows me to represent clients to the IRS and advocate for them,” said Bauschke. The privilege to practice as an EA is the highest credential awarded by the IRS. It is earned by passing a three-part comprehensive test that covers individual and business tax returns or through experience as a former IRS employee. 

A native of Whitewater, Wis., Bauschke received an associate degree in accounting in 2019 and earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting in 2022, both from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Even before graduating, Bauschke joined MBE CPAs as an intern in 2020 and later accepted a full-time position as Individual Tax Specialist at their Sun Prairie office. 

“I loved tax so much I decided to stay on to keep learning and do my schooling alongside working. I know that working with clients was my favorite part of the job, so when I started full-time, I was set up to get myself in front of a book of clients to serve them,” Bauschke expounded.
