In order to improve safety for pedestrians and vehicles, street parking on Edna Taylor Parkway at the Monona Dog Park will change beginning Thursday, Jan. 26.

Currently, parking is allowed on the west (southbound) side of Edna Taylor Parkway adjacent to the dog park but prohibited on the east (northbound) side of the street.  This will now reverse so that parking is allowed on the east (northbound) side of the street adjacent to the dog park and prohibited on the west (southbound) side of the street.  With this change, dog park users will now be able to park on the same side of the street as the dog park and access the park without having to cross the street.

New signage will be installed on Jan. 26.
