Williams Bay veteran police officer Mark Erickson has been named the First Responder of the Year by State Representative Tyler August (R-Lake Geneva). Officer Erickson was recognized for his dedication and service to the community during a ceremony held at the State Capitol earlier this month.

Representative August emphasized the importance of acknowledging the selfless acts of first responders, stating, "Officer Erickson has earned this award for his dedication to our community over the course of his 22 years of service."
