Stoughton Health recently hosted Lt. Governor Sara Rodriguez for a discussion centered on enhancing Wisconsin's healthcare workforce. The visit, which took place on February 27, involved sharing recommendations from the Governor’s Task Force on the Healthcare Workforce and receiving input from Stoughton Health leaders.

The discussions addressed several workforce challenges such as expanding clinical training, improving recruitment and retention efforts, and simplifying licensure processes. Leaders at Stoughton Health offered insights into local needs and considered collaborative solutions to bolster healthcare services.

“Workforce challenges impact healthcare delivery every day,” stated Chris Brabant, CEO of Stoughton Health. “This visit provided a valuable opportunity to discuss how we can work together to implement meaningful solutions that support both healthcare professionals and the patients we serve.”
