Middleton High School announced that 22 of its student musicians have qualified for the 2025 Wisconsin School Music Association (WSMA) High School State Honors Project. This number is the highest from any single school in the state. The students, in grades 9 through 11, represent the school's band, choral, and orchestra programs.
The selection process took place in February when students auditioned before a panel of adjudicators. Those who met the qualifications will attend a four-day summer camp in June at the University of Wisconsin–Green Bay. They will also perform in October at the Wisconsin State Music Conference, held at the Overture Center in Madison.
The students who qualified include: Fritz Bush (trumpet), Madison DeRidder (flute), Tessa Engbloom (horn), Timothy Eyring-Green (trombone), Vivian Feng (violin), Pierson Frank (euphonium), Annabel Goldberger (horn), Ava Greenberg (voice), Shaila Holland (violin), Haley Jodlowski (flute), Vivian Kammer (trombone), Isa Killian (voice), Maren Kuhn (bass clarinet), Hailey Marshall (viola), Giancarlo Martinez Hernandez (trumpet), Kyle McIntosh (cello), Ilyaas Razvi (tuba), Noelle Shen (trumpet), Selah Streets (voice), Charlie Vanderbloemen (horn), Izzy Woods (trumpet), and Alex Yu (trumpet).

Middleton High School also acknowledged the contributions of its arts program teachers: Mr. Brown, Mr. Rothacker, Mr. Ver Voort (band), Ms. Pitt (choir), and Mr. Kurr (orchestra), and extended congratulations to its student musicians.
