The scheduled closure of Felland Road is set to commence on Tuesday, April 15, 2025. This section of the road, stretching from Lein Rd to Commercial Ave/Hwy T, will be off-limits to through traffic. The closure is necessary to carry out utility installation and to complete intersection improvements at Felland Rd and Bridle Way.
The work will close the Felland Rd/Bridle Way intersection, restricting access in the area to local traffic, including business access. Furthermore, there will be a total access block between April 15 and May 15, preventing connectivity from Commercial Ave/Hwy T to Lien Rd. Travelers will need to rely on detour routes to navigate this complete closure.
During this period, access from Commercial Ave/Hwy T will be restricted to Divine St, while access from Lien Rd will be restricted to Bridle Way. Travelers are advised to consult the attached recommended detour routes for guidance throughout the construction period.
The completion of the project is slated for Thursday, May 15, 2025, at which point normal traffic patterns are expected to resume.
