U.S. Congressman Mark Pocan used his social media platform recently to communicate with his constituents and outline key upcoming events and issues. Pocan, representing Wisconsin’s 2nd congressional district since 2013, shared various posts reflecting his current activities.

On April 11, 2025, Rep. Mark Pocan tweeted: "Interesting… https://t.co/TjzcI422E6". Although the tweet is succinct, it suggests that Pocan finds a particular topic or development noteworthy.

Later that day, Pocan announced his plans for an upcoming public engagement by tweeting: "This coming Wednesday, I will be hosting a town hall in Green County, Wisconsin! It will also be streaming live on TikTok. https://t.co/j15qoeYizi”. The town hall will provide an opportunity for Pocan to engage directly with constituents, both in person and online.

On April 12, 2025, Pocan emphasized his commitment to healthcare advocacy in a tweet stating: "I don’t care if you’re a Democrat, Republican, or neither — more than 1 million Wisconsinites rely on Medicaid, and I’m never going to stop fighting like hell to protect it!” This indicates his dedication to protecting Medicaid services for Wisconsin residents.

Mark Pocan is currently serving in the U.S. Congress, representing Wisconsin’s 2nd district. He replaced Tammy Baldwin in 2013. Previously, Mark Pocan served in the Wisconsin State Assembly from 1999 to 2013 and on the Dane County Board of Supervisors between 1991 to 1996. Pocan, now 58, was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin, lives in Vermont, and graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1986 with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
