Rep. Bob Donovan has taken to social media to express his views on multiple issues affecting his constituency. Through a series of tweets, Donovan addressed matters ranging from law enforcement concerns to public infrastructure projects.

On April 22, 2025, Donovan criticized an incident involving a suspect who reportedly risked the safety of their children during a police chase. "I can not fathom someone putting their own 3 children at risk, fleeing from the cops. The sheer disregard for human life is just disgusting." Donovan's comment highlights his dismay at behaviors jeopardizing public safety and the well-being of minors.

Later that same day, Donovan responded to allegations involving a Milwaukee County judge reportedly assisting an illegal immigrant. He expressed his surprise at the situation, which was reported by Dan O'Donnell. Donovan stated, "I am shocked to hear about the reporting by @DanODonnellShow regarding a Milwaukee County judge allegedly aiding and abetting an illegal immigrant." He invited the public to read his complete statement to understand his full perspective on the matter.

The following day, on April 23, 2025, Donovan reiterated his longstanding criticism of the city's streetcar project. He described it as a significant misuse of public resources, stating, "For over a decade, I have said that the streetcar was the biggest public works boondoggle in our city's history." Donovan underscored his belief that his warnings have been validated over time.
