Lake Vista Café has officially opened its doors for the 2025 season. Located on the rooftop of the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center, the café offers patrons a chance to enjoy gourmet fare while taking in expansive views of Lake Monona and downtown Madison.
The café will operate with specific hours throughout the week. It will remain closed on Mondays, open from 11 am to 3 pm on Tuesdays, and from 11 am to 7 pm Wednesday through Sunday. The outdoor seating is weather dependent.
The menu includes a variety of options such as shareables like French fries, Farmer’s Market Cheese Curds, Mushroom Frites, Mediterranean Board, and Lakeside Fruit Plate. For those interested in lighter fare, salads and bowls are available including Rooftop Summer Salad and Vista Picnic Salad.
Taco enthusiasts can choose from LVC Fish Tacos, Cauliflower Shawarma Tacos, or Korean BBQ Taco. Sandwich options include LVC Signature Burger, Black Bean Burger, Wisconsin Cod Sandwich, and Pesto Chicken Sandwich. To satisfy sweet cravings, ice cream novelties and oatmeal chocolate chip cookies are offered.
