Concerts return to Monona Terrace with free performances starting this Thursday

Monona Terrace in Madison, Wisconsin, is bringing back its popular Concerts on the Rooftop series starting this Thursday. The event will feature live music with a view of Lake Monona and downtown Madison. The rooftop and Lake Vista Café will open at 5:30 p.m., with performances scheduled from 7 to 9 p.m. Admission is free for all attendees.

The concert series lineup includes several notable acts:

On June 5, WheelHouse, an Americana and bluegrass band from Madison, will perform. Known for their harmonies and energetic performances, they promise a unique musical experience.

June 12 will feature Rod Tuffcurls & the Bench Press. They are known for their three-part harmonies and diverse repertoire that creates an engaging experience for audiences.

Latin Pride Orquesta will take the stage on June 26. This group has gained recognition in Madison's salsa scene with their dynamic sound and lively shows.

The Eddie Butts Band is set to perform on July 10. This band combines R&B, pop, jazz, and more, led by Eddie's well-known baritone voice.

SuperTuesday will perform on July 17. They are recognized as one of the best dance bands and cover a wide range of hits from various artists.

Finally, Gold Dust Women will close out the series on July 24. This tribute band delivers music from Fleetwood Mac and Heart with high energy and dedication to their craft.

Free tickets can be obtained at mononaterrace.com/concerts. Sponsors of the event include Madison Gas and Electric, Friends of Monona Terrace, Pabst Blue Ribbon, and High Noon seltzer.
