Stoughton Health has been recognized by the American Heart Association with the Get With The Guidelines – Stroke Rural Recognition Bronze Award. This award acknowledges the hospital’s efforts to enhance stroke care and address disparities in health outcomes among rural communities.

The American Heart Association evaluates rural hospitals that participate in its Get With The Guidelines – Stroke program through a methodology focused on early acute stroke performance metrics. The association highlights the important role these hospitals play in providing timely and evidence-based treatment for stroke patients.

Amy Hermes, Chief Nursing Officer at Stoughton Health, commented on the recognition: “We’re honored to receive this recognition, which highlights the dedication of our clinical team and their commitment to ensuring patients receive high-quality stroke care when every second counts. This award reflects the expertise, coordination, and passion our staff bring to every patient encounter.”
