The Middleton-Cross Plains Area School District is considering expanding its adult education programs and has partnered with the Cross Plains Farmers Market to gather community input.

District leaders have been present at the farmers market, located at 2020 Main St. in Cross Plains, on Wednesday afternoons during the summer from 4 to 6 p.m. They answer questions about possible new courses and programs while collecting feedback from visitors about what types of classes interest them.

“I am very grateful for Jen Wankerl’s and the Cross Plains Farmers Market’s warm welcome,” said MCPASD Community Outreach Coordinator Amy Schernecker. “We are getting incredible feedback from community members who stop by to share their ideas and passions.”

The farmers market will be open for two more days this summer, on August 20 and August 27. The district is also encouraging residents to participate in an online survey to further share their interests regarding adult education offerings.
