The Wisconsin Badgers will begin their football season on Thursday, August 28 at 8:00 p.m. Fans and residents should expect several changes to traffic patterns, parking, and public transit near Camp Randall Stadium.

Several streets will be closed for the event. Breese Terrace will not be accessible from 2:00 p.m. until about 1:00 a.m. Monroe Street between Randall Avenue and Regent Street will also be closed during those hours. North Randall Avenue from Engineering Drive to West Dayton Street remains closed due to ongoing construction.

After the game, left turns near Regent Street will not be allowed between approximately 11:00 p.m. and midnight. All vehicles in this area must turn right and head outbound to help move traffic away from the stadium efficiently.

Private shuttles that previously used Monroe Street for drop-offs are now directed to use North Charter Street between Regent and Dayton Streets as the designated bus loading zone.

Parking is restricted on several key streets after the game to allow for increased traffic flow. No parking will be permitted on westbound Monroe Street, westbound Regent Street, or eastbound Johnson Street.

Public transportation users should note that Metro Transit bus routes will be detoured throughout the day for Route 82 as well as Routes D & O. Further details can be found at Metro Transit Detours (https://www.cityofmadison.com/metro/detours/index.cfm).
