Petah Coyne's exhibition, "How Much A Heart Can Hold," is now open at the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami and will run through March 14, 2026. The exhibition was previously on display at the Chazen Museum of Art from September 9 to December 23, 2024.

The opening reception for the Miami showing took place on September 18. During the event, artist Petah Coyne discussed several works with attendees. These included her piece Untitled #1563 (Zora Neale Hurston), created between 2023 and 2024, as well as Untitled #1408 (The Lost Landscape) from 2015–2018 and Untitled #1379 (The Doctor’s Wife) from 1997–2018.

Guests at the reception viewed a catalogue for "Petah Coyne: How Much A Heart Can Hold," which was published by the Chazen Museum of Art. Coyne also spoke about her work Untitled #1379 (The Doctor’s Wife), sharing insights into its creation and significance.

Other pieces featured in discussions included Untitled #1378 (Zelda Fitzgerald), completed between 1997 and 2013, and Untitled #720 (Eguchi’s Ghost), created in two phases during 1992 and again in 2007.

The Lowe Art Museum shared photographs from the event, credited to Rodolfo Benitez.

The exhibition originated at the Chazen Museum of Art before traveling to Miami, highlighting collaboration between institutions in bringing contemporary art to broader audiences.
