City of Verona residents will have the opportunity to dispose of their electronic waste at no cost during a special one-day event. The City has announced that only personal e-waste from residential households will be accepted, with business or commercial e-waste excluded.
Items eligible for drop-off include televisions, computers, monitors, printers, computer parts and accessories, DVD players, fax machines, cell phones, tablets, and other electronics. Items not accepted at the event are light bulbs, smoke alarms, propane tanks, paint, hazardous household waste, household recycling materials, or garbage.
Residents are asked to place all e-waste items in the trunk or rear area of their vehicles before arrival. Proof of residency within the City of Verona is required to participate. Upon arrival at the event site, participants should remain in their vehicles as City staff will handle unloading.
This initiative aims to help residents safely dispose of old electronics and prevent improper disposal of potentially harmful materials.
