Street closures announced for Concerts on the Square starting June 25

Multiple streets around the Capitol Square will be closed on Wednesday, June 25th for the start of the annual Concerts on the Square event series. The closures will begin at 3:00 p.m. and are expected to last until midnight.

The affected streets include ten blocks of Main Street, ten blocks of Pinckney Street, the 100 block of Martin Luther King Jr Boulevard, and the 100 block of E Washington Avenue.

Concerts on the Square will continue throughout July with additional dates set for July 2, July 9, July 16, July 23, and July 30.

Madison Metro routes A, B, E, F, R, and 75 will experience detours due to these street closures. Further details about these changes can be found on Metro’s website.
