Taylor Stremlow, the skilled Verona Area High School alum, took the court on Sunday, March 1, contributing to the Iowa Hawkeyes’ 81-52 victory against the Wisconsin Badgers.
The 5-foot-10 sophomore guard tallied 12 points, nine assists and five rebounds while playing 27 minutes.
Stremlow was joined by another former Lee Network WI area athlete, Teagan Mallegni, who also appeared in Sunday’s contest for the Hawkeyes.
Mallegni, a 6-foot-1 sophomore guard who graduated from McFarland High School, produced 10 points, four assists and two rebounds in 14 minutes.
