Madison Area Technical College will showcase student creativity during the Student Art Show Exhibit from April 30 to May 15, according to an announcement on Apr. 22. The event is hosted by the Yahara Journal, a student-run fine arts and literary publication that supports artistic expression throughout the college community.
The exhibit aims to highlight a wide range of student artwork and writing, offering an opportunity for students from various disciplines to display their talents. The opening reception is scheduled for Friday, May 1, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., featuring refreshments, readings of poetry and short stories by students, and the release of the printed 2026 edition of the Yahara Journal.
The Gallery at Truax (Room A1005), located near the entrance of the Truax Building at 1701 Wright St., Madison, Wisconsin, will host the exhibition. Free parking is available in visitor and student lots. Visitors are encouraged to attend both the opening reception and view works throughout the exhibition period.
