The Sun Prairie Area School District has announced a transition to Diligent Community as its new board management software, replacing BoardDocs. This change will take effect with the school board meeting on July 14, 2025.

According to the district, Diligent Community is designed to enhance connectivity, information sharing, and engagement within the community. The platform offers several features aimed at improving user experience.

“Receive automatic updates about meetings and important announcements,” stated the announcement. It also mentioned that users could “effortlessly explore meeting agendas, minutes, policies, and other documents with our new, more user-friendly public site.”

Additionally, the new system allows for easy submission of requests to speak at meetings or provide written public comments through an accessible link. The goal is to create “a more inclusive, accessible, and transparent community.”

Executive Assistant of Board & Superintendent Leadership Chandu Vemuri provides a video tour of the Diligent Community site to help familiarize users with the new platform.

The upcoming school board meeting on July 14 will be the last one using BoardDocs. All subsequent meeting packets will be available on Diligent Community.
