N Franklin Avenue and Lynn Terrace are set for significant utility and infrastructure renovations. Access to these roads will be restricted to local traffic effective Monday, April 28, as the project commences to replace aging utilities.

The project will see the complete replacement of the gravel base and asphalt in both areas. Sections of the curb, gutter, sidewalk, and driveway aprons will undergo spot replacements. Specifically, N Franklin Avenue will see the replacement of sanitary sewer, storm sewer, and water main lines, while Lynn Terrace’s upgrades will include the sanitary main, laterals, and storm sewer inlets.

Completion of the work is expected by mid-September.

More details and background information about the N Franklin Avenue Project can be learned as the work progresses.
