The UW-Stevens Point Pointers, featuring former Verona Area High School standout Mallorie Kreuser, lost 8-4 to the Millikin Big Blue in an NCAA Division III softball contest at 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 8.

Workman Family Softball Field hosted the game, marking the second meeting between the teams this season. The Pointers previously defeated the Big Blue 17-1 in their game on Saturday, March 7.

Kreuser pitched three innings, allowing two earned runs with one walk and three strikeouts.

The Pointers are set to play their next game on Thursday, March 19, at 1:30 p.m. at Legends Way Ballfields against the Framingham State Rams.
