The Village of Oregon announced on June 3 that community members are invited to help select the name and logo for the new senior center currently under construction. The choices have been narrowed down, and residents can now cast their votes online or in person.

According to the announcement, voting is available online through a provided link or by paper ballot at the Senior Center, Library, or Village Hall during regular business hours. The deadline for submitting votes is June 24 at noon.

“Thank you for helping us shape the next chapter of our community,” village officials said in the statement. The message encourages all eligible participants to get involved in deciding these key aspects of the new facility.

The initiative comes as part of ongoing efforts to engage local residents in decisions affecting public spaces and services. Community input has previously played a role in shaping other projects within the village.

Voting results will determine both the official name and logo for the new senior center building.
