The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) is asking for public input on planned improvements to bridges along I-39/90/94, I-94, and US 151 in Columbia, Dane, and Jefferson counties. The construction is scheduled to take place in 2029.

According to WisDOT, the project will involve installing polymer overlays and flood seals on eleven bridges across the three counties. These measures are intended to help extend the service life of the bridge decks. Additionally, a six-foot-wide raised sidewalk will be added to the Milwaukee Street bridge in Dane County.

Project materials and a presentation with further details are available for viewing on the project website.
