Graduates earn 115 degrees, certificates from the Madison Media Institute

About 67.8 percent of the 115 degrees and certificates handed out by the Madison Media Institute in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Madison conferred 58 certificates and 20 associate's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a certificate in medical administrative/executive assistant and medical secretary. Data shows the school gave out 26 certificates in medical administrative/executive assistant and medical secretary, followed by 24 certificates in music technology and 22 certificates in cinematography and film/video production.

The institute enrolled 11 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
