Four vaccine clinics will be available in October for students of the Madison Metropolitan School District (MMSD) who are over five years old. The clinics, which do not require any out-of-pocket expense for participants, will take place at the Holtzman Learning Center located at 333 Holtzman Road, Madison, WI 53713.
The scheduled dates and times for the clinics are as follows: Saturday, October 11 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Friday, October 17 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; Saturday, October 18 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; and Monday, October 20 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Appointments are strongly recommended.
Vaccines required by Wisconsin Student Immunization Law—including DTaP, Polio, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and MENACWY—will be offered at these clinics. Additional vaccines such as Covid-19, Influenza, Hepatitis A and HPV will also be available; these are highly recommended but not mandated by state law.
The clinics are being organized in collaboration with SSM Health, Group Health Cooperative of South Central Wisconsin-Madison, UW-Health and Public Health of Madison and Dane County.
Families are asked to bring their child’s immunization record to the appointment. They can check their child’s immunization status through their healthcare provider or by using the Wisconsin Immunization Registry. Information is also accessible via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal under health records.
"There is no out-of-pocket expense to MMSD clinic participants; however, if you have insurance, please bring your insurance card with you to the clinic."
