Public Health Extends Face Covering Order Through Saturday, Nov. 27

City of Stoughton issued the following announcement on Nov. 1

Public Health Madison and Dane County today extended the county's face covering emergency order through 12:01 a.m. Saturday, November 27.

No changes were made to the existing face covering order, which requires that everyone age 2 and older wear a face covering or mask when in any enclosed building, where other people, except for members of the person’s own household or living unit, could be present.

The current order was set to expire this Friday, November 5. The new order will go into effect on Friday, November 5, at 12:01 a.m.

According to today's announcement, Public Health Madison and Dane County is not currently planning to extend the face covering order after the newest order expires on November 27.
