Make a plan.

Start thinking now about how you would like to complete your ballot (via mailed absentee, in-person absentee, or on Election Day) and if voting via absentee ballot, plan to take the necessary steps in a timely manner. More information on absentee voting. In-person dates and times can be found by scrolling down and clicking ‘see my local options.’ 

Need to register to vote? Already registered, but have recently moved or changed your name? All residents are encouraged to check the status of their registration to ensure they are registered to vote for the upcoming August 9, 2022 Fall Partisan Primary. Voters may register to vote online up through Wednesday, July 20th. Beginning July 21st, voter registration can be done in the Administration Office. 

Make it count.

If voting via absentee ballot, be sure comply with all instructions to complete and return your ballot in a manner that will allow it to be counted. Request to receive a ballot by mail.

Absentee ballots can be returned the following ways:

By Mail

An elector may mail their own completed ballot to the Village Clerk-Treasurer. All ballots come with a postage paid envelope with the correct return address printed.

Personally Deliver

An elector may personally deliver their own completed absentee ballot to the Village Clerk-Treasurer. The Village Clerk-Treasurer’s office is in the McFarland Municipal Center at 5915 Milwaukee Street, McFarland, Wisconsin, 53558, and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Please note that an elector may only return their own completed absentee ballot unless otherwise authorized by law (current estate law allows for provisions for hospitalized electors). Returning ballots for other household members, neighbors, friends, etc., cannot be accepted. 

Reminder: The drop box located outside of the Municipal Center can no longer be utilized for ballots!
