Welcome to the April 2024 episode of Monthly Update with Monogue! Superintendent Dr. Monogue visited Middleton High School to meet with four exceptional senior CAPS students and explore the opportunities of the program.

The Middleton High School music students have achieved remarkable success, being selected for the WSMA High School State Honors Music Project. Superintendent Monogue expressed, "Their success certainly brings a harmonious melody to celebrate—kudos to them and to Middleton High School's music education program for nurturing such remarkable talent."

Additionally, two seniors, Isha Chilukuri and Charlotte Kosek, were recognized for earning the prestigious Herb Kohl Scholarship for 2024. Superintendent Monogue congratulated them, saying, "May their future endeavors be filled with continued success, growth, and opportunities to impact the world positively."

During the Years Of Service Recognition event, the dedication of Middleton-Cross Plains district staff was celebrated. Superintendent Monogue acknowledged the staff's commitment and thanked Burn Boot Camp of Middleton for sponsoring a special dinner for the occasion.

April was a month of appreciation and recognition for various education system contributors, from Assistant Principals to School Bus Drivers. The community showed gratitude towards these individuals for their continuous dedication.

The month also witnessed a rare celestial event, the total solar eclipse on April 8, 2024. Although Middleton - Cross Plains area experienced a partial eclipse, schools utilized the event as a learning opportunity, impacting future generations of astronomers and scientists.

Overall, April 2024 was a month filled with achievements, celebrations, and educational experiences in Middleton.
