FOIA Request to Town of Dunn Regarding New Voter Registrations on November 7, 2024.

As part of our ongoing commitment to provide comprehensive and accurate news coverage on local governmental affairs, we at Madison Reporter have sent a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request to the Town of Dunn. The request, dated November 7, 2024, seeks information about new voter registrations that took place on November 5, 2024.

In accordance with the Wisconsin Open Records Law, §19.31 et seq., we requested this data in electronic format. This information is vital for us as we continue our mission to hold public institutions accountable and ensure transparency for the public.

We believe that access to such records is crucial for us to fulfill our professional responsibilities. Given our role in disseminating information to the public, we have also asked for a fee waiver as a media professional.

We are eagerly awaiting a response from the Town of Dunn and will keep our readers updated on any developments. As always, we remain committed to providing thorough and reliable coverage of local government affairs.
