Metro Transit has announced a reduced service schedule for November 28 and 29, coinciding with Thanksgiving and Ho-Chunk Day. On Thanksgiving, Thursday, November 28, Sunday service will be available on Routes A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, J, L, O, P, R, and S. Route 80 will follow weekend recess schedules while Routes 81-84 will not operate.
On Friday, November 29—Ho-Chunk Day—Saturday service will be provided on the same routes as the previous day. However, Route 80 will operate on a weekday recess schedule. Again, Routes 81-84 will not run. In contrast to these changes, Routes 55 and 75 will maintain their regular weekday schedules to and from Verona/Epic.
Paratransit services are also affected during this period. All standing rides are canceled for both days; riders must arrange casual rides if they wish to travel on these holidays.
The Customer Service Call Center remains open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on both days to assist passengers with inquiries or concerns. However, Metro's administration office will be closed.
