Madison College and the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point have announced a partnership aimed at enhancing student success in accounting careers. This new collaboration includes an articulation agreement that allows Madison College students with an Associate Degree in Accounting to transfer 62 credits and enter UWSP's Sentry School of Business and Economics as juniors.

Eligible students must apply to UW-Stevens Point, submit all necessary documents, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale in their Associate Degree in Accounting from Madison College.

Each year, many students begin their bachelor's degree journey at Madison College, where they benefit from lower tuition, smaller class sizes, dedicated advising, and more before transferring to a four-year university.

The articulation agreement is designed to streamline the transfer process for students and strengthen the partnership between Madison College and UW-Stevens Point. It aims to ensure a smooth transition for future educators and professionals.

Additionally, Madison College and UW-Stevens Point have established similar agreements that expand educational opportunities for nursing and early childhood education students.
