Rachel LaCasse-Ford, President/CEO of the Mount Horeb Area Chamber of Commerce, has been chosen to participate in a Child Care Master Class organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation. LaCasse-Ford, selected from a competitive national pool, will join other state and local chamber executives, economic development professionals, and association leaders.
The U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation designed this Master Class to support business leaders in developing community-based child care solutions. The program begins with a two-day event on May 5-6, 2025, in Boise, Idaho, followed by virtual meetings. Participants will work with experts, analyze successful community case studies, and network to address child care challenges.
The Foundation aims to equip participants with the resources needed to handle local child care issues effectively. This initiative hopes to create a community of practice for professional development and service to their communities.
Rachel LaCasse-Ford expressed her enthusiasm for the program, stating, “I am so grateful for the opportunity to continue to learn and implement best practices in our local community.”
