The 1700 block of Monroe Street, between Grant Street and Garfield Street, is set to close on Sunday afternoon, April 27th. This closure is due to the grand opening event of the new Chabad Jewish Center.
The closure will commence at 12:30 pm, with the reopening scheduled for 3:30 pm. During this period, travelers heading downtown are advised to allocate extra travel time. Despite the street closure, the Madison Metro service on Monroe Street will remain unaffected.
