On Sunday, March 2, former Verona Area High School standout Katie Pederson’s current college team, the UIS Prairie Stars, won 7-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Purdue Northwest Pride.

The game took place at UIS Softball Complex. This was their third matchup against the Pride this season.

The Prairie Stars’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 1 p.m. at Bulldog Softball Park against Truman State Bulldogs.
